Conversation 2.1. Relational and Reflexive Participation: Identity, Care, and Trust-building

Discussion of the Full Papers from Full Paper Session 2 and Exploratory Papers (list below). In this 19th edition of the PDC, Full and Exploratory papers will be organized into Conversations, that is, experimental formats of presentation and discussion of the papers based on triggering questions and authors’ interactions.

The discussion will be guided by the following questions prepared by the Chairs:

  • Q1: If inclusion is a form of relational and material infrastructuring, what are we building, sustaining, and taking responsibility for, and who is doing this work?
  • Q2: If inclusive participation depends on relational work, reflexivity, and care, how are weas designers and researchersactively shaping, negotiating, and taking responsibility for these relations, and what remains unseen or unacknowledged in this process?
