General information
Below, you will find a first selection of recommended places to stay across different areas of the city. These accommodations are reasonably priced and offer good value for your stay. We are currently working to secure special rates at these and other locations, and we’ll keep you updated as new information becomes available.
To stay within walking distance of the main congress venue (Building B2 of Politecnico’s Design Campus in the Bovisa neighborhood), we recommend choosing accommodation in Bovisa. However, if you prefer a more central area just a few minutes away from the campus by train, you may choose accommodation near Cadorna Station or Domodossola Station, from where all departing trains stop at Bovisa.
Other areas closer to the city center and well connected by train or metro to the venue include Garibaldi, Corso Sempione, Centro, and Cenisio.
Centro Storico Area
Ostello Bello
Prices: From €42 per night (VAT included, tourist tax excluded).
Rooms: Single beds in 8 and 6 person dorms, as well as private double rooms.
Location: A few blocks away from the Duomo. To arrive to the main congress venue, you can take the Tram 2 (48 minutes away) or the green underground (M2 – Verde) and the train (37 minutes away).
Babila Hostel & Bistrot
Prices: From €38 per night (VAT included, tourist tax excluded) and €45 per night with breakfast included (VAT included, tourist tax excluded).
Rooms: Double rooms, and well as single beds in 8, 6, and 4 person dorms, and family rooms.
Location: 15 minutes walking distance from the Brera neighborhood. To arrive to the main congress venue, you can take the red underground (M1 – Rossa) and the train (46 minutes away).
Stazione Centrale Area

Rooms: Single, double, and triple rooms, and well as single beds in 8 and 6 person dorms, and family rooms.
Location: 100 meters away from Milan Central Train Station (Milano Centrale). To arrive to the main congress venue, you can take the 92 bus or the yellow underground (M3 – Gialla), both 30 minutes away.

Madama Hotel & Bistrot
Prices: From €45 per night (VAT included, tourist tax excluded).
Rooms: Single and double rooms, and well as single beds in 8 and 4 person dorms.
Location: 5 minutes walk from the Lodi underground station (M3 – Gialla). Piazza Duomo, is only 4 metro stops away, and the congress venue is on the same underground line (38 minutes away).

Location: 1km away from MUDEC. To arrive to the main congress venue you can take the green underground (M2 – Verde) and the train (43 minutes away).
