Conversation 7.2. Space, Institutions, and Coexistence: Youth Publics, Displacement, and Carcerality

Discussion of Full Papers 1218, 1243 and 1256 from Full Paper Session 7 and Exploratory Papers (listed below). In this 19th edition of the PDC, Full and Exploratory papers will be organized into Conversations, that is, experimental formats of presentation and discussion of the papers based on triggering questions and authors’ interactions.

- Q1: When participation unfolds in constrained or marginalized contexts, how do we redefine what counts as participation, and how do materials, bodies, spaces, and conflicts become part of enabling inclusion?
- Q2: When designing for coexistence, how can participation create conditions for visibility, belonging, and acting together without erasing conflict, difference, or unequal power?
